With familial roots originating all over South America I have always been drawn to and fascinated by tribal and ethnic jewelry incorporating string, beads and seeds.

I started designing jewelry after learning the art of Macramé but looked for ways to enrich my designs. Learning metalsmith skills allows me to create a contrast between the rigid metal and the soft strings.
